Meet the therapist

Hello, my name is Andrea Tarantella.  I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of PA. 

I started my career journey in 2008 at Susquehanna University where I received a Bachelor's of Science degree in Psychology. From there I worked in many mental health settings, including inpatient, behavioral services in schools, and probation. I decided to further my education and received a Master's of Science in School Counseling in 2016. I then dedicated my time to social and emotional, as well as crisis intervention, counseling in the school setting.

In 2021, I decided to make my dream goal of having my own private practice a reality. With tons of help from my partner and family I was able to do just that. I hope to be able to continue to offer therapeutic services to the rural town of Renovo and surrounding areas, as well as Pennsylvania as a whole through telehealth services.

Beyond my professional endeavors, I prioritize maintaining strong connections with loved ones. Nurturing these relationships allows me to replenish my own emotional well-being and reminds me of the importance of meaningful connections in our lives. I also find solace and rejuvenation in nature. Engaging in activities such as kayaking, hiking, and embracing a wellness-oriented lifestyle that not only promotes my personal well-being but also informs my therapeutic approach by recognizing the healing power of nature and the benefits of incorporating holistic practices into one's life.
